DIRGE TO A FORSAKEN KING

Before you drank the blood of the forsaken,
Your people sing songs of joy and mirth.
But now, there is a whisper, where once, there was a shout.
And darkness where there was once light;
A pond where once lies the sea;
A dimming light, where once stood the sun in his glory.

I.
Hail! The king of corruption and lies,
Who served the spirit of despair.
And set free the destroyer from his lair,
In the days of disaster and strife.

II.
Hail! The king of all liar,
The wielder of ice and fire.
Who mourns the souls that was slain,
And the shadows of what remains.

III.
Hail! The king of darkness,
Who has broken his divine oath,
Who has shattered the pristine path,
And destroyed the pillars of goodness.

IV.
Hail! The king of the fallen,
Who made us weep tears of farewell.
And sing the dark hymns of hell,
Until the spirits of the fallen has found peace.
