I woke up feeling happy and refreshed. The weather was mild and I had a feeling that my day will be a better one.

I filled a form online to attend a musical program a month ago and the day arrived faster than I expected. I was giddy with excitement, because the gospel artist to minister is someone I would love to meet and listen to the words of his mouth.

I remember preparing for the day, putting the house and myself in order. After doing that, I bathe and put on one of my best set of clothes. I left the house and went about my blissful journey, thanks to the Lord.

And as we are all aware of, when travelling to a far place, there is a tendency of taking more than one means of transport in order to reach one’s destination. The ride was joyous, the breath of the day caressed my smiling face as I sat by the window in the public transport.

I reached my station and got down. I asked for direction to the next station where I will board another bus to my precise destination. I was walking along the road, when I saw a little girl, wearing a tattered clothes and looking disheveled. She asked me for money, but I didn’t have any spare change to give her.

After I walked past her, I prayed that God will provide for her.

I would like us to be passionate about the situations of others and have compassion for them. The truth of the matter is that, no matter where you find yourselves, your situation is still better than that of others.

Give when you have, whether it is little or much. Pray for the progress of others and your little kindness might go a long way to help and lift-up someone from their grassy lane to a higher position.

Have a nice day and stay bless.
