TEARS

They softly fall-down my cheek
Like the vengeful rain of spring;
That is cool and salty on the lips
With the taste of pain and grief.

My tears of love shall forever fall
For you betrayed my lover's call
When you force yourself on me,
And take away my pride and beauty.

Who shall dry this tears of mine
That tells the tale of the hurt I feel?
Who shall comfort me in this dire time
When my beauty is lost to a man's greed?

And in that state of darkness deep
That I wear like a dress, I saw light divine;
A light of love and forgiveness
That no one on earth can truly give.
