A RAGING INFERNO

I see a God dwelling at the peak.
I see chaos peeking from within.
I see the shape of life at its beginning,
And the death that heralds its ending.

Blow not towards me with your tempest,
Fiery and hot like blood red lava.
Blow not towards the place I found rest,
With your fire and kindling anger.

The barest kiss from your children,
Can melt the skin from my fragile bones.
The barest touch from your children,
Can burn down my precious home.

Kiss me not with the touch of your ire.
Embrace me not with your kindling limbs.
Do not scorch the flesh from my body,
For I have felt the strength of your fiery fire.
