A CRY

The hated one has risen,
Who is he?

At last man has seen the hands of death
And the shadow of his misfortune;
Bleeding, the world is grieving;
See as the children of earth,
Drink of the poison spilling from his breast.

I wish our tendril of faith
Can elevate our fearful hearts from within,
For man has become a patch of sand,
Drifting away in this deathly storm;
Wrapped in white and whisked away.

We are a sight to see, Why?
How many times must we speak?
How high must our request reach?
How many hymns must we sing,
Before the heavens hear our cry?

Remember your covenant,
For the earth is a home of cruelty.
