A TASTE OF LOVE

Who would have thought
That a man could bear to cry
Or bear to die for one he loves?
I saw the scenes and I marvel;
As convincing as the tale of titanic
And full of rare awe,
Like the story of prince charming.

Who would take time and watch
And not feel the stirrings of love?
I have gotten to a stage in my life
Where I know that:
Love is rare and worth everything.
And if my first taste of love
Can only be seen in the acted plays,
Then I would gladly watch them
And savor the feelings
That rises within me.
