The creator of the heaven and earth
That created something from nothing,
Filling the first man with divine breath
That all creation may give him glory.
The way to the mystery of the spirit,
The Lord of hope, faith, charity and love
That holds the keys to hidden secrets
That founded the world, below and above.
The bestowal of power and prosperity
Who has made mankind his beloved.
He made my rocky foundation solid,
And filled my heart with his love and peace.
He opened my blind eyes that cannot see
The things of the spiritual world.
He shaped my mind to comprehend his knowledge,
And gave me understanding through the word.
You are the light that all eyes need to see,
And the voice all ears need to hear.
That we might live in your joy and not in the fear
Of what our tomorrow might bring.
